After only a few months wait, we have another Love Island series ready to return to our screens this year. With Maya Jama returning to host, the new series is set to air on June 5th.

Maya Jama proved highly popular amongst fans in the latest season of the show. Despite the rave reviews, the ratings of the Winter Love Island were the lowest we’ve seen since the second series back in 2016 – although it’s the most watched show on ITVX so far this year with over 157m streams. The previous 2022 Summer Series however was the usual hit for ITV with the opening episode amassing 5m viewers, and an average of over 2m viewers an episode.

The show continues to be a summer favourite, especially amongst the difficult to reach younger 16-34 demographic.
